There is no better way than taking a trip to an amusement park and have your mind blown.  This is a list of ten scariest rides in the world. Majority of the rides discussed here are located United States, So if you live there you are lucky .You can share you experiences with us in the comments and let us know if we missed any.

Number 10: Superman Ride of Steel, Six Flags New England Agawam, Massachusetts

Superman Ride of Steel, Six Flags
At first we'll discuss the Superman Ride of Steel. There are three different versions of this particular ride in all of United States. But this one is the best of all. it features a 208 feet lift hill, a 221 feet  drop at speeds exceeding 77 miles an hour, and over 1 mile of track.  it features ten seconds of zero gravity and three camel backs. The ride has won several awards so you must try this one.

Number 09: Maverick, Cedar Point Amusement Park Sandusky, Ohio

     Maverick, Cedar Point
Cedar Point is the self-proclaimed home of the rollercoasters. I would vouch for it because it offers around 17 different rollercoaster rides. Maverick was built in the year 2007. It might not be the highest or the fastest but it definitely is one of the best. The total trip takes around 2.5 minutes and if offers several twists and turns.

Number 08: Expedition Geforce, Holiday Park Habloch, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

    Expedition Geforce, Holiday Park
This is one of the largest rollercoasters in all of Europe. It offers a satisfactorily long track. It takes you to a height of 203 feet and lets you go at speeds exceeding 74 miles an hour. This ride offers zero gravity seven times when you will feel you are flying and your weight has vanished. It is a bad, bad ride and that is the reason you’ll love it.

Number 07: Tower Of Terror, Dreamworld Gold Coast, Australia

    Tower Of Terror, Dreamworld
This offers a trip of 100 miles an hour and it is the fourth fastest ride in the world.  It offers 260 feet tunnel, a maximum of 4.5 G and 6.5 seconds of zero gravity. The most scary moment is the second when it reaches the top, because you know that THIS IS IT!

Number 06: Eejanaika, Fuji-Q Highland Fujiyoshia, Japan

    Eejanaika, Fuji-Q Highland
Eejanaika is the second fourth-dimensional coaster in the world (the first one is discussed below). Eejanaika is the taller, faster, and longer of the two.  Fourth-dimensional coaster is a design in which the seats can rotate forward or backward 360 degrees in a controlled spin. It has a height of 250 feet. When it comes to height, this ride is the seventh in standing. You can also have a quick and short view of Mount Fuji at the moment when you reach the top, but that view will not last long.

Number 05: Kingda Ka, Six Flags Great Adventure Jackson, New Jersey

    Kingda Ka, Six Flags
This happens to be the father of all the roller coasters in the world. The train climbs the main top hat tower, reaching a height of 456 feet; that is about 45 stories of a building. How you go to that height is another exciting story. You are launched by a catapult which accelerates the coaster to 128 miles an hour in just 3.5 seconds. Your heart could stops at the moment when you reach the top. While going down, there is a 270 foot spiral as well. It produce both negative and positive G Force.

Number 04: Colossus, Thorpe Park, Chertsey, Surrey, United Kingdom

    Colossus, Thorpe Park,
Maybe this is the scariest ride in all of United Kingdom. It was built in 2002. Colossus was the world's first roller coaster with ten inversions;  An exact replica of this ride called the 10 Inversion Roller Coaster, was built in China in the year 2006. So if you are in China, you can still enjoy this ride. You will not be able to feel your head after you sit this one out; there’s too much spinning you would say. I am sure the picture is a better explanation of the ride.

Number 03: Insanity Stratosphere Hotel And Casino, Las Vegas

    Stratosphere Hotel And Casino
If you think that for a ride to be scary, it has to be a rollercoaster, then you are wrong. Go to the top of the tower and take this ride; it will blow you away. It extends around 64 feet over the north edge and spins at around 40 miles per hour. You sit in a couple at 900 feet above the ground.and you face the ground at 70 degrees. Its more then scary. For those who are afraid of heights, you better stay away from this.

Number 02: Fahrenheit Hershey park Hershey, Pennsylvania

    Fahrenheit Hershey park
This ride opened on May 24, 2008. The place is known as the sweetest place on Earth; You can guess that by the name. But this ride is everything but sweet. It takes you up around 121 feet and then drops you off at a 97 degree angle. That’s not all to offer. After the first drop, you will have to bear the 107-foot inverted loop, corkscrew roll, cobra element, airborne S-roll and another corkscrew. It doesn’t finish yet. All these happens in a mere 85 seconds and those seconds are as thrilling as you can possibly imagine.

Number 01: Six Flags Magic Mountain

    Six Flags Magic Mountain
This ride opened in the year 2002 and it claimed to be the world’s first fourth-dimensional ride as well. The seats rotate a full 360 degree and it gives you face down and headfirst drops. The ride closed down in 2007 and it re-opened in May later. It has become scarier than ever. There really is no explaining what the ride can do to you but it is definitely not for the faint hearted.
