Consider this list as the best 10 beaches where you can jump into a dazzling and turquoise ocean for your next trip.

Number 10: Zlatni Rat, Bol, Croatia

Zlatni Rat has been regularly listed as one of the top beaches in Europe. Its distinctive shape can be seen in many travel brochures, which made it a symbol of Croatian tourism. The Zlatni Rat, often referred to as the Golden Cape or Golden Horn, is a spit of land located about 2 kilometers  west from the harbour town of Bol on the southern coast of the Croatian island of Brač, in the region of Dalmatia. The beaches on either side of the spit extend for some 634 metres (2,080 ft.) altogether, but the exact shape and length of the landform varies with regard to changes in tide, current, and wind.

Number 9: Bahia Solano – Colombia

Bahía Solano is a municipality and town in the Chocó Department, Colombia. Bahia, as it is locally known, is an economic and tourist center of coastal Choco. Bahia is home to an airport as well as seaport, and along with daily flights to and from Medellin, Quibdo, Cali, and Bogota, there are bi-weekly ships that take passengers and cargo from Bahia to the port of Buenaventura.  18 km away from Bahia Solano, is the beach town of El Valle, Choco, which is the closest community to Ensenada de Utria National Park, located only 9 km down the beach.

 Number 8:  Playa Paraiso – Cayo Largo

One of the gorgeous beach in world is Playa Paraiso in Cuba’s finest beach island Cayo Largo. This beach well deserves its name of “Paradise Beach” is not quite as exposed to the elements as some of the other beaches on the island. The weather is usually calm and the sea here remains shallow most of the year. As the beach of hotels is very changing, most people go to Playa Paraiso to enjoy calm water to swim or simply relax on the beach.  Visitors will find a smattering of beach umbrellas and a small bar. But for the most part this place is about sea and sand and not much else. A free shuttle leaves nearby hotels several times a day for the 20-minute drive to Playa Paraiso.

Hanalei is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kauaʻi County, Hawaiʻi, United States. Hanalei means "lei making" in Hawaiian. Alternatively, the name Hanalei also means "crescent bay" and may be indicative of the shape of Hanalei Bay.Hanalei is located at 22°12′24″N 159°30′3″W (22.206653, -159.500713), near the mouth of the Hanalei River on the north shore of the island of Kauai. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), of which 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2) is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2) is water. The total area is 20.73% water.

Number 5: Pulau Perhentian Kecil – Malaysia

If you’re a beach bum you’ve probably already heard of, or visited, or fallen in love with, Malaysia’s Perhentian Islands. The Perhentian Islands lie approximately 10 nautical miles off the northeastern coast of West Malaysia in the state of Terengganu, approximately 40 miles south of the Thai border. The two main islands are the backpacker-happy Pulau Perhentian Kecil (Small Perhentian Island), and Pulau Perhentian Besar (Big Perhentian Island), which has slightly more expensive accommodation.  Dive in the crystal blue waters off Pulau Perhentian Kecil and you’re almost guaranteed to swim with sea turtles and small sharks. Hang around the island’s beach-side restaurants at 5 p.m. to watch fishermen bring in the day’s catch and haggle with restaurant owners.

Whitehaven Beach is a 7 km stretch along Whitsunday Island, Australia. The island is accessible by boat from the mainland tourist ports of Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour, as well as Hamilton Island. It lies across from Chalkie's Beach on Haslewood Island. The Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim is a 2 km open swimming competition held on the beach in November each year since 2009 as part of the Hamilton Island Triathlon. The beach was awarded Queensland's Cleanest Beach in Keep Australia Beautiful's 2008 Clean Beach Challenge State Awards. In July 2010, Whitehaven Beach was named the top Eco Friendly Beach in the world by CNN.com. Dogs are not permitted on the beach and cigarette smoking is prohibited
